DAP: The What, Why, and How of Developmentally Appropriate Practice
Learn the critical features of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP). You will explore the history of DAP, why it is important, the role of the teacher, the role of play, and how programs can support families in children in promoting developmentally appropriate practice. Participants will analyze strategies within the six guiding principles of DAP to learn how to implement DAP in their classrooms successfully.
